Aesthetically, the client took a very collaborative approach, having a keen interest in design and a strong sense of their style. Sentimental pieces and personally selected art, like the Fortuny light fixture purchased on a romantic trip to Italy, inspired much of the color palette of the home.

Meticulous Kitchen Details
An understated but incredibly well-detailed kitchen centers the home with plenty of custom elements to suit the family’s needs. Stephanie and her team carefully designed the burnished steel hood fan to perfect the scale and curvature with a unique bell shape. The final result lands perfectly between a modern and transitional piece, balancing out the clean, straight lines of the space.

Custom Solutions in The Dining Nook
If there’s a must-have in the kitchen in 2025, it’s the breakfast banquette. These cozy spaces make the perfect addition to an open-concept kitchen space, and Stephanie’s take in this project is no exception. This cozy corner provides a more casual dining setting and hangout spot underneath picture windows with tree-top views. Intentional upholstery brings a subtle pattern to the space and adds texture with durable, family-friendly materials.

A custom hutch allows space for boardgame storage, a TV, and best of all, built-in food dishes for the family dog, complete with his own little quartz counter and backsplash.
A Priority On Function
Organization and functionality for this busy family were key design considerations throughout the process. Stephanie and her team were sure to incorporate an abundance of built-in organizers, paneled appliances, and even a second, hidden prep pantry in addition to the butler’s pantry. In the laundry room, plenty of custom cabinetry brings function and space for stowing away shoes, school supplies, and the like.
