If there’s a masterclass on effortlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces, Melissa’s work on this property may be it. Chic lounge furnishings surround the in-ground pool, centering the dwellings and providing a spa-like retreat setting. We could easily lounge here all day. 

Intimate living spaces

Although the property comprises multiple satellite structures and separate interiors with distinct purposes, each flows through a strong and cohesive material palette. Carefully chosen wall treatments and finishes bring an intimate feeling to the primary and secondary spaces.

In the pool house, a kitchen, dining table, and custom built-in seating provide ample gathering space for late afternoon hangs and pre-swim morning coffee. 

Intentional pattern & color mixing

Pattern mixing throughout the design elevates the look and feel of the interior rooms while bringing in a dose of playfulness. A perfectly pink-hued guest bedroom set off by pattern-drenched floral walls and coordinating blush trim feels right out of a storybook paired with double iron twin beds and heirloom quilts. An unexpected turquoise woven shade on the sconce brings in just the right mix.
