6 Instagram Design Accounts to Watch
For many creatives, Instagram is so much more than an image-sharing platform. It’s a community, a hub of inspiration, a source of referrals and income, and it’s where we spend the majority of our time online. There are so many ways to use this platform strategically, especially as a discovery tool. From hashtags to organic engagement, we’re constantly discovering new and emerging Instagram design accounts outside our inner circles. Stumbling upon those lesser-known accounts often feels like finding a hidden gem, and we’re dedicating today’s post to six small-scale accounts to follow immediately. These are the emerging Instagram design accounts to watch in 2021.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Sabrina Albanese Interiors is known for her distinctly artistic approach to design. Her original work is stunning, complex and effortless all at once. You’ll find her feed is filled with vibrance and never, ever cookie cutter.
With a style defined as elegant, livable and timeless, Sherrell Design Studio embodies all of the above. Her level of detail and execution is incredible, and we love her take on traditional design.
If you’re not familiar with this San Diego-based designer, now is the time to change that. Her account somehow flies under the radar, but DANG does she pack a punch. As an added bonus, her business savvy is genius.
We might be biased, but the Alexander James Tile Studio feed features the best curation of bathrooms and kitchens on the gram. But beyond that, we just really love the owner and have had the pleasure of working together on multiple home projects. PS: shop their tile collection and use code IDCO15 for 15% off your entire order.
Tracy Simmons Design is the SF-based designer you absolutely need to know. Her work has so much depth, texture and warmth, all with an inherent approachability. Every time we scroll her feed, it feels like a breath of fresh, romantic, nostalgic air.
As one of our greatest sources of inspiration, we admire these Midwest designers so much. They only share their own work, which is particularly inspiring when looking for new and fresh ideas you haven’t seen before. Think carefully curated layers, complimentary color palettes and lots of luxe depth. Our favorite part of their feed is their gorgeous flat lay design presentations. It’s like the golden ticket into their brilliant creative minds.
