Autumn Harvest Thanksgiving Table Design
We’re wrapping up our Thanksgiving Table, Three Ways series, but not without one last hurrah. So far, we’ve shown you table one, featuring our suspended floral centerpiece, and table two, which takes a more rustic, “elevated camp” approach. But our third and final look is an ode to the season with timeless appeal.

We’re calling it our autumn harvest Thanksgiving table, and it’s designed with a more organic sensibility in mind. We took the in-season elements you’d find at a fall market and let the bounty speak for itself. Paired with casual place settings and cozy throws layered over every chair, it’s a table that invites guests to come and enjoy a long evening of feasting ahead.
The Autumn Harvest Thanksgiving Table Design
As we put together this third tablescape, we imagined dear friends and family gathered together at harvest time to share an elaborate Thanksgiving meal. We chose to lean into all the seasonal inspiration by embracing natural elements as much as possible. A vintage dough bowl anchored our table design as a centerpiece overflowing with pears, pumpkins, squash, artichokes, and apples. We also incorporated a variety of florals, berries, and foliage stems to add both height and texture to the look. Taper candles were placed throughout the table to bring an element of ambiance as day turns to night.
Unlike our other two designs, we intentionally chose to leave this table uncovered. We wanted a really natural aesthetic and to celebrate the wood table’s patina. To dress up the simple white porcelain dinner plates by CB2, we layered a mix of plaid napkins from Heather Taylor Home and placed a throw blanket across each chair. Not only are they meant to keep guests warm throughout the meal, but they double as a keepsake to take home at the end of a memorable evening.

The Playlist
Don’t forget to create a great atmosphere with our Folksy Thanksgiving playlist on Spotify. It’s filled with over three hours of mellow music that’s been hand-selected for the occasion. Just add a seasonal cocktail (see above), and you’ll have a gathering that feels just as fun as it looks.
